Adam Stroke, born as Adam J Stroke was an American actor of movies as well as Television. He was born as the eldest of three sons in a middle class family, on the 18th of August, 1962. During his time of birth, his parents were living in New York City, United States of America and both his parents had jobs related to the theatre and art industry. His mother, Angela Thornton was a British by birth who had acted in many theatre acts as well as in many Broadways acts during the time of some other famous artists like Douglas Fairbanks Jr., Kate Burton, Ray Milland, Mickey Rooney, Richard Burton and others.
She married the Television producer of dramas named William F. Storke, who was also the Vice President for NBC TV channel. After their marriage in 1960, they lived together in New York and a couple of years later, Adam was born. He is the eldest of two sons to the couple, and their second child Robe Lowe Stroke was born some years later. Having been brought up in a well to do family, he has a fairly comfortable childhood. He enjoyed his schooling years at the local school, and later after graduation went to study at the Union College, Schenectady, New York.
It is no surprise that he had also shared the passion of acting along with his parents; after all he was raised in the same environment. So from his high school days, he had already been involved in many of such works; primarily his school productions. Having been selected in his school’s drama team, he took this opportunity to explore his passion towards acting and also learning a great deal of work as he carried on. His teachers and the viewers on show could see the potential in this young fellow, as he gripped one show from another to come close towards his dreams. Adam started to work professionally after completing his university education. From 1985, he started to work as a professional artist working in some local theatres in small roles. But as work was not so easy to find, he spent a year as a struggling actor.
In 1986, he went on through some auditions for Broadway, which he failed. That brought him with sadness and depression for a long time, which only went away after he worked in his father’s production. It took some time for him to get back to his old self, but it was only a matter of time when he started to make hits on the stage. This charismatic influence brought him the first big break in his career, when he was selected to play in the movie Mystic Pizza (1988). He also went on to play many successful films like Highway to Hell (1991), Death Becomes Her (1992), The Stand (1994) and others. Not much is known regarding his personal life, although there is a certainty that he is not sexually gay and has been with his longtime girlfriend Natasha Gregson Wagner, whom he had been dating for more than 20 years.
With rumors suggesting these two have been married, it is not a fact as he has not had a wife or any children, with a good height of about 5 feet and 10 inch tall, he has also got a well maintained figure, although there aren’t any shirtless pictures to be found on internet. With his good net worth and fan following, he has got some social media accounts on Twitter and Instagram as well and his biography can be found in Wikipedia.
