Chadwick Gaylord Smith, better known as Chadd Smith is an American musician, drummer and actor who is currently the drummer of the rock band Red Hot Chili Peppers. He is one of the most successful drummers in American music as he has already played for some renowned artists and bands like Deep Purple, The Dixie Chicks, Kid Rock, The Avett Brothers as well as Johnny Cash. He is a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and was also regarded by Spin Magazine as one of the rock music’s best drummers, placing him on the 10th spot. In 2013, he was also regarded as one of the 100 Greatest Drummers of Alternative Music.
Chad was born on the 25th of October, 1961 in Saint Paul, Minnesota, United States of America and belongs to white ethnicity.
