Christopher Plummer was born as Arthur Christopher Orme Plummer on the 13th of December, 1929 (his current age is 85 years old) in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
He was born as the only child to mother Isabella Mary and father John Orme Plummer. He is the descendant of former Prime Minister of Canada named Sir John Abbott, from his mother’s side.
He grew up in Montreal with his mother’s family after his parents got divorced, while he was still a kid.
As a child, he learned to play piano and was set to become a pianist, but after he discovered his love and passion for theaters and acting, his piano dreams were left off.
As a student of Montreal High, he did several plays with his school’s team and also performed acts at Pine Avenue. After the film Henry V was released in 1944, he was inspired to work after watching Laurence Oliver.
