Franco De Vita is a Latin singer and a songwriter and is a Grammy Winner, along with multiple other awards. He is a Venezuelan citizen who has had influence in both and North and South America, Europe, Asia, Africa and pretty much everywhere. In 1990, he reached at the top of U.S. Latin charts and in the same year, his album “Extranjero” won the MTV Video Music Award. Franco was born as Franco Atilio De Vita De Vito, one the second of four children born to Ferdinando De Vita and Rosa De Vito. His parents were of Italian descent; and were living in Venezuela at the time of his birth: which makes him a Venezuelan by nationality. He has got one elder brother, one younger brother and one younger sister; Bartolomé, Fernando and Anna. Franco was born on the 23rd of January, 1954 in Caracas, Venezuela and at the age of 3, went to live in Rome with his family. His basic education was done in Italy and so he spoke Italian and after returning to Venezuela at the age of 13, learned Spanish as well. He started to show musical talent as a young boy and learned to play guitar and keyboard. At university, he taught to play himself piano; and after two years released his first ever solo album as Franco De Vita (1984).
After the success of his first album, he composed another one; Fantasía in 1986 which produced more success for him. With his songs travelling to Spain and United States he was also the composer of then TV opera La Dama De Rosa. After he signed with CBS Records in 1987, and released his first album in 1988; named Al Norte del Sur. His another album Extranjero was a massive hit of the 90 and the song “No Basta” ruled the U.S. Latin charts for four weeks before receiving his first major award. Since then, he has come a long way and in the process has won awards like: Latin Grammy Award for Best Male Pop Vocal Album (2011), Latin Grammy Award for Best Long Form Music Video (2011), International Viewer’s Choice Award for MTV International (1991).
Despite his international fame and talent, he is also a humble and polite person and is down to earth. He has got an admirable face and a good body, with a height of 5 feet and 10 inches. With so much of popularity, money and currently at the age of 62; it seems unreasonable although we don’t know for sure.
