An American rapper from Jersey City, New Jersey popular for his new and creative way of tuning his feelings into rapper is non other than Joe Budden who was born on August 31 in the year 1980. The rapper has currently reached the age of 35 and is best known for his amazing contribution to the success of each and every song he has worked in.
Born in Harlem, New York, the rapper was grown up in New Jersey. He was not interested in study and school and started using drugs from his early childhood. But later on, with emotional confrontation from his mother, he went to a rehab on July 3, 1997. He initially began free styling in his high school with his friends. Along with being a rapper, he is also known as a member of the American hip hop subgroup called Slaughterhouse in collaboration with the fellow rappers Joell Ortiz, Crooked I and Royce da 5’9”. He was married previously but later went through a divorce with his wife because of their personal matters. He has a son from his previous marriage. He was caught up by the New Jersey police for not paying his child support payments in 2010 and after two years, on March 30, 2012, he again had to spend a night in jail and had to miss a Slaughterhouse concert in his hometown.

Talking about his professional life, he released his first debut solo studio album in 2003 called Joe Budden. The album included his Grammy nominated summer hit song ‘Pump It Up’. The same song was also featured in the movie, 2 Fast 2 Furious and also, in video games like Def Jam Vendatta, Madden NFL 2004 and Def Jam Fight for NY. His second single was featured in the movie called ‘Mean Girls’ named ‘Fire’. He got involved in various songs, which hinted that he was recovering his drug addiction and has regained his position several times with the help of multiple outlets. His second album ‘Padded Room debuted at number 42 on the Billboard 200. His most successful song commercially must be ‘Pump It Up’ from his self-titled album.
He recently released ‘Some Love Lust’ in 2014 and also co-starred in Love & Hip Hop, a VH1 reality show. He also participated in a total slaughter rap battle event on July 122, 2014 against ‘Hollow Da Don’.
