John Turturro is an American director, actor and a writer as well, who is best known for his role sin movies like: Miller’s Crossing (1990), Barton Fink (1991), Do the Right Thing (1989), Where Art Thou? (2000) and many others. He started his TV career, after being a part of the theatre in his young days. He was seen in a small role in Martin Scorsese’s Raging Bull (1980). With his role in Danny and the Deep Blue Sea (1983), he won the Obie Award for theatre. With his average performance in Do the Right Thing, he was casted in Spike Lee’s Five Corners. Spike and John went on to work for many years, and worked together in nine films, that ranged from comedy to actor and dramas.
