Jonathan Edward Jon Bernthal, born on September 20, 1976, is a super American actor who has had an outstanding career in the Hollywood industry.
He is best known for his roles in movies such as Fury and The Wolf of Wall Street. He is also widely known for his character Shane Walsh in the on-going TV show called The Walking Dead. He has a total net worth of $2 million.
Jon was born and raised in Washington, D.C. to Joan Lurie and Eric Lawrence Rick Bernthal. His father is a lawyer, and his grandfather was a musician as well as a producer named Murray Bernthal.
He also has two brothers named Thomas and Nicholas in his Jewish family. Jon got his education from the Sidwell Friends School in Washington and later went to Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs.
He also attended The School of Moscow Art Theatre in Russia. He also played professional baseball in the European Professional Baseball Federation.
He graduated from the American Repertory Theatre with a Master of Fine Arts in 2002. Jon has acted in more than 30 plays regionally and off-Broadway including his award winning Theatre Company called Fovea Floods.
He had some guest appearances on TV shows like CSI: Miami, How I Met Your Mother, Boston Legal and much more. He got his first regular role on a television show called The Class but was canceled after one season.

He had a regular role in the TV show Eastwick, but it was also canceled after a season. His portrayal in the TV show called The Walking Dead as Shane Walsh nominated him for the Breakout Performance- Male Award at the 2011 Scream Awards for his performance.
He also appeared in the film named Snitch and later in the TNT series called Mob City as Joe Teague. He also had a supporting role in the super popular film called The Wolf of Wall Street and later in the comedy film named Grudge Match.
