An VJ who thinks she is not a celebrity, Leah Miller has spent a long time in Canada as a high-profile television host. Since 2014, she is not associated with any TV channel.
Born on July 20, 1981 in Etobbicoke, Ontario, Canada, Leah has an impressive CV.
She worked as a VJ for the highly rated MuchMusic TV channel from 2004 to 2014. Besides her contribution to MuchMusic, she has also hosted the popular dance competition show “So You Think You can Dance Canada” and worked as a correspondent for the famous reality TV shows namely “Etalk” and “E!” in Canada.
However, Leah initially wanted to make career out of her most preferred hobby and that was dancing. In fact, she won the “Miss Junior Dance of Canada” title when she was 13. Later after finishing her high school, she moved to Los Angeles in order to pursue another childhood dream and that was acting.
Leah returned to Canada after struggling in the city for few years. While her stay in LA, she gained some on-screen experience starring in MTV’s hit reality show Punk’d and Chris Brown’s hit comedy movie Down To Earth.
Leah parents were really supportive ones. They supported Leah when she decided to rush to LA forfeiting her further education. And, they also supported Leah when she returned back. In fact, it was her father, a schoolteacher, who hooked her up to MuchMusic.
Lucky for Leah, Muschmusic’s executive producer Sheila Sullivan was her father’s former student. After impressing Shelia and completing all the audition process, Muchmusic as a VJ hired Leah in the year 2004.
Unfortunately, Bell Media’s 2011 MuchMusic takeover proved to be harsh news for Leah. Leah was one out of many who were fired by the company as per as their strategy to cancel several in-house productions.
Her fans are hoping to see her on-screen as soon as possible. Generally, fans miss her straightforward interviews that she had with various influential personas in music including Rihanna, Avril Lavigne, Taylor Swift and her husband Dallas Green.
If you didn’t know, Dallas and Leah married in the year 2008 after dating for two years. Even to this day, boyfriend turned husband Green and Leah share a strong bond and they also watch their favorite television show together when they get time.
As far as we know, the couple has no kids.
Now moving on to her body configuration, the blonde beauty is a tall woman with the height of 5 feet and 9 inches. Moreover, she is known for her expressive personality plus good verbal skills. Nevertheless, Leah is a fit woman with hot body.
Although her exact body measurements are not known, but judging by her pictures, we can speculate that her body shape lies somewhere in between pear and hourglass shaped body.
Be what as it may, we will give credit to Leah for being a strong woman. She was regarded as one of the most polarizing figure while her Muchmusic days. Why?
There are two definite reasons. The first one has to do with plastic surgery rumors and the second one has to do with her husband Green.
Many people believe that she has undergone various plastic surgery procedures such as breast augmentation and Botox injection. For this reason, she was a matter topic for many people over the years. There is even a hate page focused on her altered looks and excessive makeup’s. On the other hand, Leah never accepted such rumors.
The second reason is that she remained an easy target of Rob Green’s woman followers for many years. Out of jealousy, many women ridiculed Leah over the media citing her conflict in personality on-screen and off-screen.
However, many people who have met Leah have said that she is super sweet and generous, unlike some people’s perception of Leah as a critical person. On the other hand, Leah has said that she is what she is and people have no right to judge a person out of nowhere (in an interview). Leah thinks that she is like everybody and people should stop assuming things about person they don’t know. She argues that people shouldn’t judge her like a celebrity, as she is just a VJ doing her job.
Interestingly, City and Color front man Dallas came up with a song titled Commentators in 2013 in response of all of the hate people were spreading about his wife Leah on the web.
Here’s a part of the song:
What gave you the impression
That your opinion means anything to anyone?
What gave you the right
To bear arms against me… against us?
Last but not the least, her net worth is speculated to be in between $100 thousand US dollars to $200 thousands US dollars. Unfortunately, she has no twitter and Instagram account.
