Luke Farrell Kirby is one of the talented Canadian theatre, film and television actor who was born on June 21, 1978 in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. Luke Kirby started to do acting from his teen age after he was accepted at The National Theatre School of Canada. He is the son of American parents who completed his drama courses from the National Theatre School of Canada in the year 2000. It is a private collage, which offers professional trainings to people regarding different theatre arts such as acting, playwriting, directing, set and costume design, and production.
After giving two auditions he was able to work in different projects in lead roles. He worked in the Alliance mini-series Haven and similarly in Lost and Delirious. His outstanding performance in the Factory Theatre’s production of Geometry in Venice in Toronto as the role of ‘Morgan’ gave him a great success and also was able to nominate him as best actor in Dora Mavor Moore Awards.
In the year 2006 he gave an awesome performance in Women’s Project Theater production of Jump/Cut, which is also regarded as one of his best performance. His recent theater presentation was presented in Irish Repertory Theatre where he performed lead role in Defender of the Faith. He played the role of Jim in his first featured movie named Halloween: Resurrection. Some of his other fantastic movies are Luck, Mambo Italiano, Shattered Glass, The Human Kazoo and so on. In the year 2003’s Toronto International Film Festival he was nominated in Canadian Comedy Award.
After his huge success in two different movies i.e., Luck and Mambo Italiano he played in a part of the featured movie named Shattered Glass, which was produced by Cruise/Wagner. Currently he is playing the role of Jimmy Burns in the highly praised Canwest Global television series named Crash & Burn.
In the year 2007 he played the lead role of Ray Dokes in the movie called All Hat along with Rachael Leigh Cook and Keith Carradine. His latest film is Labor Pains where his opposite star was American actress Lindsay Lohan. For his guest-starring role in the dramatic series named The Eleventh Hour he was able to gain second Gemini nomination. He is very keen towards his work and does his work with full efforts, which gives best and outstanding results. He has not married so, he does not have wife.
