Shawty Low was born as Carlos Walker, who is an American hip-hop artist, singer, and rapper. He is from Atlanta, Georgia and is one of the base members of hip-hop band D4L as well as D4L records.
He began his career in 2003, with D4L; which means Down for Life. Having worked with the band till 2007, they had released two albums and had also toured in many cities, but couldn’t stay committed for long.
So, from 2007 Lo began his solo career, and his first single album “Dey Know” was in the top 40 of Billboard Hot 100. His next album “Units in the City” ranked 14th in the Billboard 200 and was in the second spot of Top Rap Albums, which sold more than 160 K copies.
